Lydia + Tom

Our mission is to empower as many people as possible to be confident and capable in their body and mind

Hi, we are Lydia and Tom, Founders and Movement+MIND Coaches at On-From Movement and Mind. We started studying human performance over 10 years ago, inspired by our own experience of picking up reoccurring injuries while playing rugby, working as Occupational Therapists in the NHS and feeling like everyday was like canoeing in a rapid of uncomfortable thoughts and feelings with no paddle.

Over a decade later Lyd has performed on the World stage as an international rugby player, riding the waves of self doubt and underperforming to be named in the World Rugby Team of the Decade (2010-2020) and Tom changed from a frequently injured rugby front row to a 5 times Ironman Triathlete (and still counting). In our professional lives we have continually kept studying different modalities, which has taken us on our own physical, mental and spiritual journeys, and worked with amazing people who have all wanted to take the next steps in living a life doing the things that matter to them. The more we worked on creating a movement and mind practice with our clients the more we saw the increase in them feeling stronger and more capable translate into other areas of their lives.
